Messier 35

Messier 35, or NGC 2168, is an open cluster located in Gemini, distant about 1800 light years from Earth. It contains around 200 components, with an estimated age of 110 million years, distribuited in a 24 l.y. diameter.
In the same field, but 16'500 l.y. far away, we can see also NGC 2158, almost at the edge of the Milky Way. The estimated age of its members is around 1 billion years.
