Messier 45, also known as The Seven Sisters, is an open cluster in Taurus, 440 ly from Earth. The cluster contains over 1000 members but only the brightest O and B class stars are visible at naked eyes. The light they emit reflects on the surrounding interstellar medium through which the stars are currently moving, giving us such an amazing view. |
