The Soul nebula, (Westerhout 5, Sharpless 2-199, LBN 667) is an emission nebulae in Cassiopeia.
Several small open clusters are embedded in the nebula: CR 34, 632, 634 in the head and IC1848 in the body.
The object is more commonly called by the cluster designation IC1848.
Due to a bad framing during the first session the head was not completely imaged, so I decided to correct the error.
During the very few clear nights on november and december I managed to add 2 hours per channel, even though the resolution suffered the 2x2 binning. |
